The port of Limani, where the hydrofoils (Flying Dolphins) arrive, is at the heart of the town. All of the facilities you need are there, including a wide variety of shops, banks and a post office, cafeterias, bars and restaurants. The Mandraki side of town is home to more restaurants as well as a number of more lively bars some of which have live music evenings during the summer season. The Bisti is the pine clad peninsula at the end of town, where you can enjoy walking around the forest or swimming in the rocky coves. Also in this area are a number of other places well worth visiting, including The Katafyki Gorge: Thermisia: the village of Thermisia lies 10km from Ermioni and is excellent for walkers, bird watchers and rock climbers. The remains of the Venetian castle lie at the top of the 350 km high rock and offer fantastic views of the surrounding area. Thermisia lagoon is often home to a variety of migratory birds.
